We’ve got one more week under our belts and I can already see huge improvements! Form drills are really improving and there’s a lot more running than walking going on. And the hills….AMAZING!!! I promise if you continue to “Dream Big” and “Do Work” amazing things will continue to happen! Here are some important things to review for the week.

    Water, water, water!

IT’S HOT!!! Make sure you’re drinking plenty of water all day long. It’s too late to try and drink water right before practice. You’ll already be behind by then. Talk to mom or dad and make sure you’re drinking 64 oz a day! Drinking just when you’re thirsty isn’t enough.

    Pictures

We’re anxious to begin documenting our progress through music video! To get an idea what we’re talking about, check out our 2008 videos on the website. Please share your digital pictures so we can begin production. Just put your photos on disc or jump-drive and bring them to practice. Keep your cameras with you at all times and share!

    Age Group Parent

We’re making GREAT progress here but we’re looking for 4 parents per age group (2 for girls/2 for boys) to play the role of “Age Group Parent” during the meets. Responsibilities include organizing the tagging of the kids, warm-up, escorting to the start-line, cool-down, emergency bathroom runs and cheering at the top of your lungs! Please see Courtney James if you’re interested.

    Spirit Wear

Be a part of Warrior Nation and show your team spirit! We’re taking orders, beginning this week, for official warm-up gear and t-shirts. Print your order form from the website or see Courtney James at practice for more information.

As always, if you have any questions please feel free to call, e-mail or see me at practice. Looking good to another great week of progress!
